I've been following Mama on FB, but had never had the chance to grab some food from her place. I saw a post today about her PST - Pancetta, Spinach Basalmic, Swiss Cheese, and thin-sliced tomatoes. On Sausage Focaccia Bread. Need I say more? One of the best sandwiches ever. Seriously. Came with a generous sized serving of Mama's take on a delicious pasta salad. I'll be back.

Discovered Mama Gizzi's today on Dixie Hwy in Lake Worth. Sampled her gravy (what I call spaghetti sauce) and quickly picked out meatballs and sauce to take home... and of course pasta fagioli. Gizzi is extremely warm, funny and wonderful. Italian foodies (or anyone) should head over to her new location. Green Acres residents - sorry for your loss but happy for my gain. Though you can always check out her new store when you head east for the beach!

Her pasta sauce - or "gravy" - and fresh homemade pasta are hard to beat. As noted in other reviews, her sauce is the best. This local take out spot absolutely will not disappoint. Ask her what she recommends and go from there.

incredibly authentic iitalian store & take out delish fresh coffee, freshly baked breads sandwiches paninis soups a wide selection of fresh pasta & delectable italian dishes: eggplant parm veggie lasagna sausage stuffed shells roasted garlic with fig balsamic bread dipping sauce pasta fagiole cannolis my mouth started watering after 5 mins of walking around & looking at all the delicacies. the husband & wife were incredibly kind, gracious, helpful & friendly' GO HERE NOW! AMAZING! TELL YOUR FRIENDS! : )

Such a cool original idea for take out food. Her sauce is the best I've ever had (sorry mom). Fried gnocchi was delicious. Homemade pastas. Eat here.

I am so thankful to have this spot in my neighborhood!!! Her pasta is to die for!!! My goodness it's incredible! I also purchased some bread and a mini cannoli. The bread is amazing-fresh and perfect warm. The cannoli filling was soft and creamy with a light flavor- perfection. She has lots of different options, I can't wait to try them! You can buy stuff to make or she has many pre-made treats you can bring home. It may be a little pricey, but you definitely get what you pay for. Gizzi and her husband were both so kind and welcoming. They took the time to chat with me about the business and products, while cooking away! I enjoyed the feeling of stepping right into their kitchen. Overall this shop is phenomenal! I will definitely be visiting again soon!!!!
